Missy Zombor, Milwaukee Public Schools parent and candidate for the MPS School Board at-large seat, announced today that she has earned the endorsement of former Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes.
“As a Milwaukee Public Schools parent and long time advocate of public education, Missy has the experience, perspective, and appreciation for our public schools that we need on the Board,” said Barnes. “Missy is deeply committed to ensuring that every child in Milwaukee has access to a high-quality public school, regardless of their zip code. I know that Missy will always do what’s best for MPS students and families.”
“Mandela Barnes has always been a strong champion for our public schools,” said Missy Zombor. “I’m honored to have his endorsement in this race. Mandela joins the growing list of organizations, elected officials, and community leaders who know that I will always do right by our MPS community and work every day to make our Milwaukee Public Schools the best they can be.”
